Well week one of the PBA Experience League came and went. Wow, what a difference! We started with the Viper bowling pattrn. I saw guys that bowled at my home alley with 210+ avg. shoot around 140-150. I have a league avg. of 183 and ended up with a 148 for the first night over 4 games.(139,166,141,147 ugh!) I just put ScotchBrite to the Shift, as suggested by others, to give it a little more midlane read. I thought I would start with that and tried my normal swing in practice. No margin of error! So, I stayed with the Shift, took a lot of the crank out of my delivery and threw a narrow inside line. I threw a lot of 9's and was hit or miss on the spares. I did that and improved through the second game. Then it That line started to break down fast. I switched to my Paradigm and moved a little deeper inside. I wasn't adjusting quick enough throughout the third and fourth games, but I caght up with the lanes at the end of each game with marks in the 8th and ninth and at least a strike to start off the 10th. All-in-all it was damn fun and we took all 9, 2 pts. per game and 1 pt. overall. Two weeks on each of the five patterns,, so every second week is going to be a position round. We'll see what next week brings us.

I bowl in a sport league as well. I averaged 212 during the fall league. We also used the Viper pattern and I averaged 187, so I was happy. Good luck with the rest of the league.
